Greetings all! Well, it certainly feels like fall around here now. That wonderful orange maple tree has lost most of it's leaves, and we even had a slight frost the other night. Brrrr! I spent last night with Boy Scout Troop 193 in the gym behind the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street telling ghost stories to an excited group of young people. Greetings fellow history lovers, fall is a beautiful season in New England! There is a wonderful sugar maple tree in front of our building that is all ablaze in oranges, yellows, and tinges of green. The late Dan Amorim planted this tree back in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Attached is a photo for you so that those who miss the fall colors might get a taste of home.
