Weekly Update

Greetings! It is a wonderful day here in Easton as the month winds to an end. We have something really special to kick off fall! Many of you remember Mary Bodio, a vibrant and cheerful lady, and an excellent watercolorist. Thanks to the Bodio family, our open house next weekend will present you with an opportunity to purchase prints of Mary's work! Many of these prints hang in homes and businesses all around Easton and the surrounding area, and they are very much sought after. Information on the event is included below. Weekly Update

Greetings! The fall season is kicking off with two very special events. First, at our open house on September 9th, you will have an opportunity to purchase prints of Easton by the late Mary Bodio. The Bodio family is making the prints available for sale. Mary's work includes watercolor collages of Easton schools, Easton landmarks and buildings, Frothingham Park, Stonehill College, and note cards featuring the Richardson buildings. The Bodio family will donate a portion of proceeds of the sale to the Society, My Brother's Keeper, and a charity in St. Croix where Mary spent time each year. Tuesday Tours

Hi all, just a reminder that our usual Tuesday Tour is cancelled for tomorrow, August 21. Hope to see you on the 28th as the series continues. Several have asked about the Langwater Tour on September 4th. We will walk the drive through the Langwater estate, but we will not be going inside the house. See you next week, Frank

Weekly Update

Hello all of you hot weather lovers! This summer has been one of the hottest in recent years, and I think I heard it has been one of the top five hottest summers recorded! There have been plenty of beach days so far, and probably a few more to come before we welcome cool nights and the arrival of September. We are working on a calendar of ideas for the fall season here at the Museum. Right now we are developing plans with the Easton Grange to sponsor a concert of World War I era music. Details will be forthcoming as the event shapes up. Many of you have expressed an interest in the late Mary Bodio's artwork, and we are happy to announce that we are working with her family to have prints

Hello from a very hot Easton! A return of hot and humid weather reminds me that summer is far from over. Last week the third square was dedicated for Easton men killed in action during World War I. This week, the Town of Easton will take part in National Purple Heart Day.
