Hello from beautiful Easton! More rain is in our forecast, but that won't dampen our spirit as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches. We will have our first "Black Friday" sale on November 29 and 30! Greetings! The sun may be shining here, but don't be fooled - it has been pretty cold in recent days, and a few snowflakes made an appearance, if only briefly. My snow shovels are out of the shed and are now in a handy place, as well as my windshield scraper! The 50th Gala at the Easton Country Club last Sunday was a wonderful event! It was great to see so many people come out to support us and celebrate with us. Many thanks to David Ames, Jr., John S. Ames III, Oliver F. A hale and hearty hello from frosty Easton! The arctic air has found its way here, but that won't stop us from having a great day on Sunday! We will be celebrating the gift of our Museum from the Ames and Parker families with a special event at the Easton Country Club this Sunday. Many thanks to all of you who have made plans to attend, and I look forward to seeing each and every one. And thanks to those who have donated towards this event in so many ways. Greetings from a very frosty Easton! After a wet and windy week, temps fell overnight and gave us our first hard frost. The trees seem to have gone from colorful to bare overnight, and soon the rakes will give way to ice scrappers! DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS TONIGHT! Remember to turn your clocks back one hour tonight as Daylight Savings Time draws to an end.
