Hello! It is a blustery and damp day here in North Easton, but the weather does not dampen our spirits! Tomorrow we will hold our fall bottle and can drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain, shine, or even wind. The drive is held in memory of Ken Martin, who ran this important fundraiser for many years. He faithfully collected returnable bottles and cans and then brought them to a redemption center where all of those nickels became a very valuable donation to the Society. We honor Ken's faithfulness, commitment, and hard work by continuing to hold this event. Volunteers are always welcome! The coffee will be on!
While you are here you can check out a few recent additions, including a portable parlor organ from Marianne Lillie of Center Street (she taught music in her home for many decades), children's chairs from the Whitten and Tisdale families, Priscilla Almquist-Olsen's baby shoes, and a few other select items. Until next week, Frank
