Hello all! Hard to believe it is already June! Oliver Ames High School graduates the Class of 2018 on Sunday at Frothingham Park (as long as the weather holds). Congratulations to all of the OA graduates, and to all of you who are graduating this year!
I am pleased to announce our participation in a new program: Passport to History! Created by the Old Colony History Museum in Taunton, MA., the Passport features 11 area museums you can visit this summer. Your first admission to each is free with your passport, which is available at any of the participating museums. Get your passport stamped at each one you visit! This is a great way to get yourself immersed with the history of the Old Colony region. In Easton, we will be hosting a one hour tour each Tuesday with Ed Hands, beginning at 10 a.m. Each week the tour may vary a bit and will include the Museum, the Shovel Works, and one other building. You can visit any day with your passport, but I hope you will take advantage of the tours! More information is below, or you can visit the Old Colony History Museum at oldcolonyhistorymuseum.org. Have a good week! Frank
