A warm holiday greeting to all! This weekend kicks off the festivities in Easton in a big way.
The annual Holiday Festival by the Easton Lions Club begins Saturday morning, and we'll be busy here at the Museum. We will host the Easton Garden Club and their always popular Greens Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You will find wonderful fresh arrangements, raffles, and who knows what else! Join us as we open the season. The Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Join us for a fun day, good coffee, refreshments too. This is a great time to begin your holiday shopping by purchasing Reminiscences Volume 9, Mary Bodio prints, Easton maps, and other gifts. Don't forget to attend the Lighting of the Rockery at the end of the day! On Sunday we will be open from 1-5 p.m. Why not come in following the annual noontime parade down Main Street, followed by the reindog parade? If you miss us on Saturday be sure to stop in today.
Don't forget to check out our tree at the annual Festival of Trees at the Easton Country Club! Weekend hours are noon - 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There are 65 trees this year featuring a variety of themes, and proceeds support a variety of local charities. This event is brought to you by the Easton Charitable Trust.
While you are in town, why not check out the Christmas Walkthrough sponsored by the Tucker family at 226 Turnpike Street? Beginning December 1, you can visit between 4:30 - 8 p.m. There is no charge to see the display, but any freewill offering collected will be used to support Military Boxes overseas, the Fisher House, and VA patients. Wishing you all the blessings of the season, Frank
