Greetings, and happy holidays to all! It does not feel very wintry today with a lot of rain, mud, and 60 degree temps! Santa might need pontoons on his sleigh this year!
We have had a very busy and good month at the Museum. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people which is always exciting. I also have a few visitors coming Christmas week; one family who grew up in New England and are both Richardson and train buffs will arrive on Monday morning, and on Thursday a professor will be visiting from Keene State College to get a look at a few of the Richardson buildings. She is teaching a class on Richardson in the spring semester. What better way to research than to visit us?
I will be at the Museum Saturday morning and most of Monday, so if you are still looking for some terrific gift ideas, come and see us! Two popular items have been hand knit little ducks, and hat and scarf sets. These were made by Pamela Johnson Dudley, OAHS Class of 1967, and donated to us. They make a great gift and the little ducks are really neat stocking stuffers! Need a small gift for a party? These would be excellent ideas, as well as prints by Mary Bodio and the latest issue of Reminiscences.
Below is a little something from our collection that fits the season.
Wishing you all a very merry holiday,
