Greetings! Spring, it isn't! After a thorough soaking yesterday, I woke this morning to lots of cold wind and an inch or so of snow. All those flowers that recently pushed up from beneath the previously frozen earth will need a winter coat for a few days!
This week we are taking the "show" on the road in a few different ways. First of all, Chronicle fans will know that a few months back the show featured the Ames Free Library in an episode of "Warm and Cozy Places." If you missed it, that episode will be re-broadcast on Monday night. Chronicle can be found on WCVB TV, Boston. And if you check out the Chronicle website you can see a feature about restoring a painting in the former Frederick Lothrop Ames mansion in Boston. Go to https://www.wcvb.com/article/the-art-of-fighting-against-time/26887520 to watch that episode. Very interesting!
The second half of our "road show" will be a talk I will give for the Lakeville Historical Society on Wednesday night, 7 p.m. at the Lakeville Senior Center. I am looking forward to sharing some of our great history with another group of history lovers.
