Warm greetings from a warm Easton! Just in time for Memorial Day, the weather has turned beautiful giving us one of the best weeks in a long time! As we gather this weekend for family get-togethers, graduations, weekend vacations, let's make sure we pause to reflect on and remember all those who have served us, especially those who have given all they had to give to protect our freedom. Let's also remember those who are currently serving here and around the world so that our freedom is preserved.
Dads and grads (and anyone else) - the first printing of the new book A Beautiful Image of Historic Easton is going fast! We had a very busy open house last week and our authors, Buddy Wooster and Jonathan Jackson Coe, were busy signing books! If you have a youngster going off to college, this book is a nice way to send them off with a piece of home. Looking for a special gift for dad? This is it! You can order through the online store at our website, by phone or email, or the old-fashioned way, visit!
Now, we need your help with something. Below is a photo of the 6th grade Patrol Boys 1950-51. We have most of the names, but we are missing a few. If you can fill in the blanks we would appreciate it! You might note a young Johanna McFadden and Joel Johnson too. Below the photo is the list of names as well as who we are missing. Many thanks, and we hope to get all of the names.
