This week I chose to send you a scan of a double wide postcard with a bird's-eye view of the Ames Shovel Works here in North Easton. The postcard, which would be folded and sealed before mailing, was printed about 1915 or so. It includes the familiar Shovel Shop buildings, our Museum (the former train station), the old Ames Counting House in the left foreground, and the Ames Store on the right (white building).
Have an historic week!
I understand a number of you did not have the image come through with the last update (honestly, it was in the email when it left here!).
I have attached it for you, so check it out!
