Greetings! Looking for something to do after a stormy week?
Come to our Open House, Tomorrow, October 13th from 1-5 p.m. Frederick L. Ames will be speaking at 2 p.m. about the 150th anniversary re-enactment of the Golden Spike ceremony, signaling the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in May, 1869. Learn about the role played by Oakes and Oliver Ames in this great American feat of engineering and construction!
Hot off the presses is the 10th edition of Reminiscences. Copies are now available at the Museum at a cost of $10 each.
And now.....join us for a special celebration of receiving the Museum as a gift from the Ames family fifty years ago! Attached is an invitation and ticket form for our special celebration at the Easton Country Club on November 10th. We hope you can join us for a special afternoon, great speakers, and a nice time of fellowship for our members and friends. Call me at 508-238-7774 or email me for more information!
Best to all,
